Lava Chef: You're Cooked!
It's always been your dream to win the world-class cooking contest SuperChef International, bringing a taste of your local Volcanic cuisine to the big screen. To win over the judges, you'll have to use nothing but the finest ingredients and cook your authentic recipes from the heart. That means gathering your ingredients fresh from the local volcano for every dish — which means you'll only have 30 seconds to grab everything you need before the cavern fills with lava. Gather the ingredients quickly and cook your dishes to perfection to impress the judges in three rounds of intense competition, and you'll become the Lava Chef!

A tiny game we cooked up for Micro Jam 013. The theme was 'lava', and the prerequisite was 'time is limited'. This game received 1st place in presentation and 6th overall!
This game and all included assets were made in 48 hours, so please let us know if you encounter any bugs or have any feedback. (Note: if the game window is too small, you can zoom in on your browser page to resize it!)

It doesn't run for me, unfortunately.
Is the issue related to the play button on the menu screen, or does the game itself simply not load? And if you don't mind us asking, what browser and system are you playing on? The game seems to be working for most players, so we'll definitely look into what might be causing that!
They gave this cat a chef's hat, mustache, and a tie. Incredible stuff.

Thanks for letting us know! It seems to be an issue with detecting clicks when the game is displayed on certain screen sizes. We're working on it now, and I'll let you know when it's fixed!
